The Senegalese-Qatari Friendship Circle strongly condemns the criminal attack perpetrated by Israel against the city of Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar. This act constitutes a serious and unacceptable violation of the sovereignty of a member state of the international community and a flagrant breach of international law as well as the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations.
Our association, faithful to its mission of promoting friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation among peoples, expresses its deep compassion to the brotherly Qatari people and its full solidarity with the government of Qatar in this ordeal.
The Senegalese-Qatari Friendship Circle reaffirms its unwavering commitment to peace, international security, and justice. We call upon the international community to take all necessary measures to ensure the protection of sovereign states and to prevent any escalation that could jeopardize regional and global stability.
